Job description
This position represents a great opportunity to work in a dynamic, high growth busines environment in which you will acquire the knowledge and experience related to all aspects of the accounting/payroll cycle. As a team member of the Accounting department, some of the key tasks that you will be involved with include:
Key responsibilities:
- Accounts Receivable
- Accounts Payable
- Complete monthly, quarterly and annual reporting requirements including banking and government authorities filings;
- Various monthly reconciliations – balance sheet, bank accounts, credit cards and expense reports;
- Variance analysis – comparison to budgets, previous years and general trends;
Key requirements:
- Bilingual
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or business administration, CPA designation is an asset;
- Minimum of 3 to 5 years of related accounting/finance experience;
- Experience with Asset Based Lending is an asset;
- Expert Proficiency in Excel, Dynamics considered an asset;
- Detail oriented;
- Ability to work under pressure and against tight deadlines;
- Proactive and a self starter mind-set.
