Job description

This position represents a great opportunity to work in a dynamic, high growth busines environment in which you will acquire the knowledge and experience related to all aspects of the accounting/payroll cycle. As a team member of the Accounting department, some of the key tasks that you will be involved with include:

Key responsibilities:

• Accounts Receivable
• Accounts Payable
• Complete monthly, quarterly and annual reporting requirements including banking and government authorities filings;
• Various monthly reconciliations – balance sheet, bank accounts, credit cards and expense reports;
• Variance analysis – comparison to budgets, previous years and general trends;

Key requirements:

• Bilingual
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or business administration, CPA designation is an asset;
• Minimum of 3 to 5 years of related accounting/finance experience;
• Experience with Asset Based Lending is an asset;
• Expert Proficiency in Excel, Dynamics considered an asset;
• Detail oriented;
• Ability to work under pressure and against tight deadlines;
• Proactive and a self starter mind-set.
