The Ministry of Government Relations is looking for an organized, conscientious and thorough Accounting Clerk to work primarily in auditing and processing accounts payable.
Reporting to the Manager of Financial Services, you will be responsible for ensuring that invoices and expenses are verified and processed daily in accordance with acts, regulations, policies and procedures. The successful candidate will possess knowledge of accounting principles and procedures relating to accounts payable, journal entries and reconciling accounts. The successful candidate will also be organized and demonstrate flexibility in prioritizing tasks in order to fulfill the above duties accurately and within firm deadlines. Other duties in payroll, accounts receivable and general ledger may be required as needed.
