Accounting Manager

Our client, a leading independent investment deal, is searching for a dynamic and experienced Accounting Manager to join their team in Toronto!

Responsibilities:

• Managing cash flow and ensuring timely payments and receipts
• Preparing and posting month-end journal entries and reconciling accounts
• Preparing daily risk-adjusted capital reports and monthly regulatory reports
• Liaising with external auditors for annual financial statement audits and regulatory audits
• Assisting the CFO in preparing ad hoc reports and responding to online survey requests from Statistics Canada

Requirements:

• A post-secondary degree in business/accounting and strong accounting skills developed through approximately 5-10 years of work experience in an accounting position
• Solid working knowledge of Microsoft Windows, Word, and Excel, as well as accounting software
• Experience in managing a team of accounting professionals
• A proven track record of delivering accurate and timely financial information to senior management
• Experience in developing and implementing accounting policies and procedures
• Experience in managing relationships with external auditors and regulatory bodies
