About The Role
Bosa Properties is looking for an Accounting Intern to join our team of talented real estate professionals. Reporting to the Accounts Payable Manager, this individual will have a unique opportunity to learn about the various business operations of a growing real estate firm.
What You'll Do
- Perform data entry and verify invoices related to multiple operating entities;
- Reconcile vendor accounts;
- Set up new vendors in the accounting system;
- Lead communications to enroll vendors for electronic payments and electronic invoicing;
- Assist with corporate expense reconciliations and other ad hoc projects as required;
- Provide support for the annual Property Tax payment and Speculation Tax filing process.
- Three (3) years of post-secondary education in Business, Accounting or Finance;
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry;
- Proven ability to effectively manage multiple priorities in parallel;
- Demonstrated ability to communicate intently and work collaboratively, building strong relationships across the organization and with vendors;
- Prior internship experience within finance or accounting would be considered a strong asset;
- Familiarity with or exposure to accounting systems from a previous internship, especially Yardi would be considered a strong asset.
The expected base salary for this role is $52,000.
