Squamish Nation consists of 23 villages and is comprised of descendants of the Coast Salish Aboriginal people who live in the present-day Greater Vancouver area, Gibson’s Landing, and Squamish River watershed. As an organization, we provide support to the greater Squamish Nation Community through service. With 12 departments with individual areas of expertise, we ensure Community Members have access to necessary programs and services.

About The Opportunity

Working as an integral part of the Estx̱wáy̓usem Finance Department, Reporting to the AP Team Lead and Manager, Financial Transactions, this position has two primary responsibilities: 1) to enter all invoices associated with all daily and weekly Accounts Payable payments and 2) to take full control of the files, and to maintain them; retrieve files upon request; and respond to co-worker inquiries regarding files. This position works closely & cooperatively with the A/P Coordinator and performs primarily according to established policies and procedures.

Salary: $ 57,144 - $ 63,738 annually, plus a comprehensive benefits program
