Accounts Receivable Clerk

Job Overview:

The Accounts Receivable Clerk is tasked with ensuring that Genesus receives payments for goods and services and records these transactions accordingly. This role requires the employee to be organized, detailed and communicate effectively. The Accounts Receivable Clerk will also be responsible for timely invoicing, reconciliations and resolving discrepancies.

Responsibilities:

• Domestic (USA & Canada) Invoicing
• Bank Reconciliations
• Execute Daily Deposits (cheques/monies received); Monitor cash accounts.
• Reconcile any irregularities in receipts and manage customer ledgers in Accounting Software
• Work collaboratively with accounts payable and other accounting staff to ensure accuracy in finances
• Answer and triage incoming calls.
• Actively investigate and resolve irregularities in both incoming and outgoing payments

Skills:

• 0-5 years’ experience for entry-level Accounting or Office Administration positions
• Working knowledge of database and spreadsheet software, such as Smartsheets and Excel
• Relevant experience using modern communication systems, including email and phone systems
• A desire and ability to work collaboratively with others to accomplish daily goals

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $60,000.00-$65,000.00 per year
