The Association of Canadian Mountain Guides (ACMG) is the professional association of trained and certified Mountain, Alpine, Ski, and Hiking Guides and Climbing Instructors dedicated to protecting the public interest in mountain travel.
Job description: The ACMG Office Administrator collaborates with all departments of the association to support the delivery of programs and service to students, members, and external stakeholders.

Reports to: Executive Director
Work Schedule: Full-Time (Monday-Friday)
Annual Compensation: $50,000 per year + benefits
Work Location: Remote from their residence.
Job Responsibilities:
- Respond to telephone and email inquiries from students, members, and the public
- Process student membership, professional membership, membership renewal, and membership resignation applications
- Process Liability Insurance Program (LIP) applications and renewals
- Process Personal Accident Insurance (PAI) program applications and renewals
- Process Land Use Permit (LUP) program applications and renewals
- Collate land use data and prepare permit use reports for land managers
- Maintain and update professional membership, LIP, PAI, LUP application and renewal packages
- Maintain student and member data and prepare database reports
- Export and transfer student and member data between databases
- Provide the International Federation of Mountain Guide Associations (IFMGA) with ACMG Mountain Guide member data
- Schedule and attend staff meetings, and prepare and maintain meeting agendas and meeting minutes
- Schedule online polls, elections, and committee meetings
- Provide the Arête publication editor with member data and distribution lists
- Process member merchandise orders, maintain merchandise inventory, and assist with the procurement of ACMG & IFMGA insignia
- Maintain and update the member services annual calendar of events

Desired Education, Certification and Skills:
- Office administration certificate, diploma, or equivalent relevant job experience
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Proficient using Google Workspace, Microsoft Office 365, Doodle Polls, Zoom, Election Runner, etc.
- Previous experience working in a collaborative remote team environment
