Sales & Customer Service Representative ‐ Full‐Time

Compensation: $18.00 ‐ $23.00/hour

Lions Gate Marine Centre is a full‐service marine center and dry boat storage facility, located on the North Shore in the marine‐industrial area near West 1st Avenue & Pemberton Avenue. We offer on‐the‐job training lots of opportunity to grow.

As a Customer Service Representative your overall responsibility is to provide customer support services to new and existing customers and to educate and promote our full selection of service offerings.

In this role your tasks include but are not limited to:

• Responding to general customer inquiries (in person, phone, email)
• Inform new/existing customers on new sales promotions and marine services
• Schedule and book service appointments for marina services in our scheduling software
• Respond to general inquiries and service requests from our on‐site marine tenants
• Maintain and update customer profiles records in company database
• Perform end of day closing activities (when on closing shift)
• Prepare and issue customer invoices and statements
• Process customer payments
• Assist with inventory tracking and monitoring on‐site deliveries
• Sort and route incoming office mail
• Performs other administrative duties and responsibilities as assigned

Qualifications

• High school diploma
• 1 year of administrative or Customer Service experience (or equivalent volunteer experience)
• Solid computer skills and ability to learn new software
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
• Ability to work well under limited supervision
• Having some knowledge of boats is an asset

This role requires the ability to work evening and weekend shifts.
