This role is in our in-force Insurance Department and could be a long term fit for the right person. This position is detail oriented and requires an individual that is good with talking to clients on the phone. The future candidate will need self awareness, company commitment and a great work ethic to make sure they excel in this role as well as be considered for future positions if the opportunity presents itself. We are happy to train the right individual.
This role would include yourself working and interacting with all members of the firm. As this is a professional atmosphere, individuals must conduct and hold themselves out in a professional manner.
This is a FULL-TIME temporary position with the possibility of a permanent position after 3 months if they are a great fit within the company. Our hours of operation are from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM Monday-Thursday. Fridays the office is closed to the public at noon, however work may continue to 4:00 PM depending on work load for that week.
While this will not be a regular occurrence; at times, and when business needs arise, employees are required and agree to work beyond their normal workday. Likewise, people need time to devote to personal matters, and our approach to flexibility provides for this.
Starting Salary begins at $17.00/hr (negotiable for the right person). Paid monthly. You will have the chance to increase your wage through training and eventually taking your life license if required.
Responsibilities:
This role will entail but is not limited to 3 core areas: Client Interaction, Document Preparation & handling in-force policy requirements.
Client Interaction
- Collecting and following up on sensitive client information
- Basic client communication through email, telephone, face to face (minimal)
- Focus on enhancing client experience
Document Preparation
- Prep of client documents and other items relating to the position
- Work with existing team to recognize work to be done for the client
Requirements:
- High School Diploma required, Post Secondary Education an asset
- Previous Administrative experience an asset
- Strong Communication and Client Service skills
- Ability to Multi-task with strong Organization and Time-management
- Can work well unsupervised
- Adaptability in a Fast-paced, constantly Changing Environment
- Motivated and Goal-oriented
- Exceptional Computer skills
- Background check for individual selected
- Will be required to complete a credit check for licensing
You must supply a cover letter as well as complete the tests (with a high proficient score) to be considered.
