What do you need to succeed in this role?
- Solid listening, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
- The ability to change priorities quickly and juggle a shifting portfolio.
- Comfort with the Microsoft Office suite.
- Comfort in Adobe, Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, or similar software.
- Time- and Project-management skills.
- High attention to detail.
Bonus skills:
- Experience in Customer Service or Sales.
- Experience updating website content.
- Experience dealing with first responder and/or military communities would be an asset.
What’s the job?
You will be working with the Marketing department to keep the website complete and updated, some data entry, supply & equipment ordering, IT tracking, and electronic filing organization.
When the admin work is done, you’ll be working with the Events Co-ordinator to assist with event planning, set up, attending events, tear down, etc.
We also want our staff to be cross-trained in other departments, so you’ll get to know the rest of the staff and what they all do here. You don’t have to know it all, just be willing to learn every day.

Compensation:
The compensation range for this position is $18-20/hour to start, plus benefits.
