Full-Time Temporary Position (approx. 10 months)
General Description
Quest Support Services Inc is a private agency that provides services that enhance the lives of people with disabilities. The Administrative Assistant will work collaboratively to manage the daily operational needs of the Agency and Management team.
Job Duties
- Represent the Agency in a professional manner
- Act as the primary back-up for the Front Desk Administrator
- Standing member on the Management Social Committee
- Ensure confidentiality practices are upheld to the highest standard
- Manage the master copy of Agency Policy and Procedures
- Complete various invoicing tasks
- Complete administrative tasks within the community including purchases, banking, mailing, etc.
- Manage petty cash and credit card
- Assist in organization of Agency parties/events, campaigns, and employee recognition programs
- Various administrative tasks using Microsoft 365 programs, including but not limited to:
o Tracking Agency data
o Writing letters, memos and job postings as needed
o Creation of monthly newsletter
- Maintain an inventory of office supplies and order as needed
- Audit and track employee evaluations
- Maintain filing of various administrative documents for departments as assigned
- Manage enrollment, billing and changes to our company benefits package
- Participate in the hiring of Disability Service Workers
Essential Skills
- Able to multitask, organize and prioritize efficiently
- Effective communication, both verbal and written
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Superior computer skills including data entry, document creation and information tracking
Requirements/Qualifications
- Post-secondary diploma in Office Administration, Human Resources or related discipline
- 1 years’ experience in an administrative position
- Valid Class 5 Driver’s License; vehicle to use for work purposes with $2 million liability coverage
- Clear Criminal Record
Hours: Monday to Friday: 8:00 – 16:30 (1-hour lunch break)
Compensation: $22.00 per hour
