Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Administrative Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience working in a immigration office or similar administrative role. As an Administrative Assistant, you will be responsible for providing administrative support to ensure efficient operation of the office.
Duties:
- Greet and assist patients in a friendly and professional manner
- Answer phone calls and direct them to the appropriate staff members
- Schedule appointments and maintain the office calendar
- Perform data entry and maintain patient records
- Type, file, and organize documents as needed
- Assist with billing and insurance claims processing
- Manage inventory of office supplies and place orders when necessary
- Coordinate meetings and prepare meeting materials
- Assist with other administrative tasks as assigned
Skills:
- Previous experience as an Administrative Assistant or in an administrative role in immigration consulting filed is preferred
- Proficient in using computerized systems and phone systems
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask effectively
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in data entry
- Familiarity with immigration office procedures is a plus
- Ability to type quickly and accurately
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
