Prairie Rose Public Schools (PRPS) is seeking a full time Administrative Assistant – Business Services to join the team at Central Office with duties commencing at an agreeable time between the successful candidate and PRPS.
Description:
Reporting to the Chief Financial Officer (CFO), the Administrative Assistant – Business Services will provide excellent service to all staff. Responsibilities include but are not limited to bank/EFT deposits, general and charitable donation receipts, credit and debit card transactions, scholarship reconciliations, visa cardholder statements, maintenance work orders and chargebacks, school division utilities, rental properties, and administrative support to the CFO and Director of Building Operations. The successful candidate will have the ability to operate and multi-task in a busy office environment.
Qualifications:
- Post-secondary diploma or equivalent in business administration or administrative office management/professional
- Proficiency in G-Suite and Microsoft Office
- PowerSchool Atrieve and SchoolCash software experience is considered to be an asset
- Proven organizational skills
- Excellent communication skills; both written and verbal
- Previous work experience in a school division environment is considered to be an asset
Terms of Employment:
Monday – Friday
7 hours per day / 35 hours per week
About Prairie Rose Public Schools:
Prairie Rose School Division is located in the South-Eastern region of Alberta and educates approximately 3400 students in the communities of: Bow Island, Cypress County, County of 40 Mile, Foremost, MD of Acadia Valley, Oyen, Redcliff and Special Areas. The Division consists of 18 public schools, 3 Outreach schools and 18 Hutterite Colony schools. Our Division office is located in Dunmore, Alberta, near the city of Medicine Hat.
