We are a top performing Financial Services firm with a national insurance company. We have two locations with one in Rocky Mountain House and our second in Edmonton. We are currently looking for the right fit for our team in Edmonton.

We require the candidate to be able to think outside the box as to what is required to keep the office running smoothly from the front. The ability to work alone and within a group setting is mandatory.

This is a FULL-TIME position with the possibility of a permanent position after 3 months. Our hours of operation are generally from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM. At times, business needs arise, and employees are required and agree to work beyond their normal work day or work week to fulfill the accountabilities required for their job. Likewise, people need extra time to devote to personal matters, and our approach to high flexibility provides for this.
Essential Functions/Responsibilities/Duties
- Provides confidential administrative support and processes sensitive information, documents and correspondence, and coordinates schedules.
- Answers telephone calls, e-mails and have face to face interaction with clients and responds as appropriate with a focus on enhancing the client experience.
- Composes and compiles written correspondence as needed
- Attends various administrative and other meetings as assigned
- Develops and maintains an accessible and updated filing system (electronic and paper)
- Supports other professional staff in the department as necessary.
- Ensures timely and regular processing of data entry, filing, and processing.
- Coordinates and maintains the purchasing of office supplies and equipment, and maintenance needs as necessary.
- Maintains confidentiality of information and system data.
- Prep of portfolio, financial plans, client information prior to appointments
- Work with existing admin team to recognize work to be done on client file(s)
- Continuing education/training may be required
Qualifications
· Education: High School Diploma required, Post Secondary Education an asset
· Experience: Previous Administrative experience (1 year)
- Knowledge/Skills/Abilities: Ability to maintain confidentiality in and out of the office
- Strong Communication and Client Service skills while answering the phone and in office, Ability to Multi-task with strong Organization and Time-management, Can work well unsupervised, Adaptability in a Fast-paced, constantly Changing Environment, Motivated and Goal-oriented, Exceptional Computer skillsBackground check for individual selectedCredit check for individual selected could be required in the future for advancement

Salary: $20.00-$23.00 per hour
