Job Information
The Administrative Officer in Fort Resolution reports to the Regional Manager, Community Health, but also works with other senior managers in the NTHSSA. They provide financial and administrative management to NTHSSA operations in Fort Resolution, including fleet management, communication, compliance to occupational health and safety regulations, and file management. The Administrative Officer is a liaison between NTHSSA and the community, addressing communication and service delivery gaps and forwarding concerns to appropriate managers.
The job requires knowledge of general office practices and administrative tasks, organizational skills, and communication skills. The ability to absorb, retain and share information, work in a fast-paced environment, and maintain confidentiality is also necessary. Proficiency in various software and accurately tracking financial information is required. The job also requires knowledge of community health care and social program challenges and issues in a community setting. The ability to work effectively in a diverse environment and use interpersonal skills is important.
Typically, the above qualifications would be attained by:
Completion of a diploma in Office Administration and one (1) year of experience in an administrative role within an office environment.
