Medical Assembly Technician - Job Summary

Duties include assembly, inspection of small Medical Devices in a clean environment, cleaning Medical Devices, packaging, testing devices, and labeling of product. Must be able to safely perform repetitive tasks standing and sitting, work with very small product, work in a team environment to meet production schedules and quality standards.

Duties

· Assemble Medical Devices according to assembly instructions

· Test and inspect devices

· Maintain workspace cleanliness and organization

Skills

· Ability to read, understand, and follow work instructions with a high level of detail

· Being able to understand written and verbal instructions

· Ability to work methodically and accurately in a fast-paced environment

· To deliver good quality and meet production requirement

· High level of hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity to work with small plastic and metal components

· Experience in the fabrication of stainless steel and plastic components; such as cutting, grinding, deburring, shaping, soldering, using adhesives

· Advanced skills using a range of small benchtop tools, hand tools, and equipment

· Good soldering skills with the ability to perform fine soldering work.

· Attention to detail

· Microscope skills

· Hand-soldering skills (1 year required)

· Precise manual dexterity for work with small parts

· High precision and detailed assembly

· Able to follow detailed instructions without deviation

· Clean workmanship

Requirements

· Effective attention to detail and a high degree of accuracy

· Following safety procedures

· Ability to work independently

· High level of manual dexterity and keen visual acuity

· Confidence in working to tight timeframes

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $24.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
