The fueler position's primary responsibility is refueling aircraft in a safe, efficient, and professional manner.

Job Functions and Responsibilities:

· Monitoring fuel levels in aircraft tanks during refueling and communicating with pilots about any problems.

· Inspecting aircraft for damage or defects and reporting findings to appropriate personnel.

· Connecting fuel hoses to aircraft fuel ports and refueling aircraft using hand pumps or mechanized equipment such as fuel trucks or aerial refueling systems.

· Cleaning fuel spills and other debris from aircraft using absorbent pads or brooms.

· Observing the operation of aircraft during refueling to ensure safe operation of equipment and compliance with procedures.

· Keeping logs of fuel deliveries and usage to track aircraft fuel consumption and replenishments.

· Monitor fueling process and make necessary adjustments to ensure accuracy.

· Maintain cleanliness of refueling area and equipment

· Keep accurate records of fuel usage and inventory levels.

· Adhere to all safety regulations and procedures.

· Assist with other ground support activities as needed.

· Report any incidents or accidents immediately to the supervisor.

· Other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

Minimum Requirements:

· Must be legal working age.

· Available able to work shift work, weekends and stat holidays.

· Wiliness to work overtime.

· Pass a federal background check.

Physical Requirements:

· Able to fuel aircraft and able to lift 80 pounds.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $23.00 per hour

Expected hours: 35 – 40 per week

Education:

• Secondary School (preferred)

Experience:

• aviation: 1 year (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

• Drivers License (5 or 7) (required)
