Alarm Technician

Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Alarm Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in electrical work, computer networking, and telecommunication systems. As an Alarm Technician, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting alarm systems for residential and commercial clients. This is a hands-on role that requires knowledge of power tools, blueprint reading, and the ability to work with various hand tools. Responsibilities:
- Install and configure alarm systems according to client specifications
- Conduct routine maintenance and inspections of alarm systems
- Troubleshoot and repair any issues with alarm systems
- Collaborate with clients to determine their security needs and recommend appropriate solutions
- Test alarm systems to ensure proper functionality
- Provide training to clients on how to use alarm systems effectively
- Maintain accurate documentation of all installations, repairs, and maintenance activities

Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience as an Alarm Technician or in a related field preferred
- Strong knowledge of electrical systems and wiring
- Familiarity with computer networking and telecommunication systems
- Proficiency in using power tools and hand tools
- Ability to read blueprints and technical diagrams
- Mechanical knowledge for troubleshooting and repairs
- Excellent problem-solving skills to detect issues with alarm systems
- Knowledge of CCTV systems is a plus

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $25.00-$40.00 per hour

Expected hours: 44 per week
