Apprentice Heavy Duty Technician - Grande Prairie

Stahl Peterbilt is seeking an enthusiastic and responsible Apprentice Heavy Duty Technician to join our team in Grande Prairie. If you're a team player with a positive attitude, eager to work in a fast-paced environment, and have truck and transport experience, we want to hear from you. Preference will be given to those with Paccar and Cummins certifications.

Job Description and Responsibilities:

Duties and responsibilities of the position include, but are not limited to:

• Perform service and maintenance on Class 7 and 8 trucks
• Diagnose and repair medium problems with medium and Heavy Duty trucks
• Maintain a clean and safe workplace
• Other duties as directed by shop foreman

Employment Qualifications:

• Priority will be given to those with CAT and Cummins engine makes experience
• Knowledge of engine and gear repair is an asset
• Experience with computer diagnostics
• Excellent trouble shooting skills
• Must be Registered Apprentice
• 2-3 years previous experience in a service or body shop environment is preferred
• Must be able to pass pre-employment medical and criminal record check
