ARCHITECTURAL MILLWORK PROJECT MANAGER

This Ottawa manufacturing firm (established 1946) is seeking the services of an Architectural Millwork Project Manager with at least two years’ experience. Our firm specializes in the manufacturing of cabinetry for large construction projects such as retirement homes, hospitals, schools, commercial offices and all kinds of other institutional and prestigious buildings. The position consists mostly of the management and scheduling of production, delivery and installation of our line of products. Tasks include the production of manufacturing work orders, installation scheduling, organization of deliveries, communication with site personnel as well as clients, ordering of materials and the attendance of construction site functions.

We are seeking candidates with a good knowledge of Autocad and some construction management experience, preferably related to Architectural Millwork. We offer limited training for our unique way of approaching projects. The ideal candidate would be very resourceful, organized, pragmatic, committed to succeeding in his/her career. Communication and interpersonal skills are paramount. A strong focus on customer satisfaction is a must. Reliable transportation is necessary for the occasional travels to construction sites.
