JOB QUALIFICATIONS

Key Responsibilities

Job Management

• Experience working with Multiple deadlines, and the ability to keep track of timelines
• Manage a variety of concurrent commercial and residential Architectural Millwork projects, providing general oversight. This includes,
• Analyze and comprehend project plans, specifications, and details
• Setup and maintain a project budget and schedule of values.
• Responsible for overall scheduling of assigned projects.
• Conduct field surveying when necessary.
• Ensure projects are completed on time, within budget and meet high quality standards.
• Write RFIs and change orders.
• Prepare progress reports to clients.
• Examine drawings for conformity and errors.
• Analyze project financials and labor costs.
• Source materials for project estimation.

Scheduling and Communication

• Scheduling of site installation by employees/subcontractors. (In addition to negotiating)
• Work with appropriate customer staff to ensure projects are progressing as planned and any issues or concerns are resolved.
• Coordinate with team members to make sure that all parties are on track with project requirements, deadlines, and schedules.
• Meet with project team members to identify and resolve issues.
• Establish effective project communication plans and ensure their execution.
• Facilitate change requests to ensure that all parties are informed of the impacts on schedule.
• Obtain customer acceptance of schedule.
• Manage customer satisfaction within the project transition period.
• Conduct post-project evaluation and identify successful and unsuccessful project elements.

Competencies

• Procore Construction Management Software experience is a major plus.
• Experience in Architectural Millwork industry
• Experience in MS Office Excel, Word, Outlook, Project management software
• Understanding of AWMAC standards
• Valid driver’s license with respectable driving record
• Knowledge of Workplace Safety Procedures
• Ability to read and understand blueprints
• Excellent management, negotiating and organizational skill
• Demonstrated ability to achieve results
• Sound judgment and decision-making skills with ability to consider the relative costs and benefits of potential actions and choose the appropriate course of action
• Ability to identify measures of performance and actions needed to improve or correct performance
• Possess prioritization skills necessary to use time effectively and set action plans to achieve targets
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Works well under pressure and meets deadlines
• Works effectively in an entrepreneurial, team based collaborative environment
• Demonstrated relationship-building skills
