JOB QUALIFICATIONS
Key Responsibilities
Job Management
- Experience working with Multiple deadlines, and the ability to keep track of timelines
- Manage a variety of concurrent commercial and residential Architectural Millwork projects, providing general oversight. This includes,
- Analyze and comprehend project plans, specifications, and details
- Setup and maintain a project budget and schedule of values.
- Responsible for overall scheduling of assigned projects.
- Conduct field surveying when necessary.
- Ensure projects are completed on time, within budget and meet high quality standards.
- Write RFIs and change orders.
- Prepare progress reports to clients.
- Examine drawings for conformity and errors.
- Analyze project financials and labor costs.
- Source materials for project estimation.
Scheduling and Communication
- Scheduling of site installation by employees/subcontractors. (In addition to negotiating)
- Work with appropriate customer staff to ensure projects are progressing as planned and any issues or concerns are resolved.
- Coordinate with team members to make sure that all parties are on track with project requirements, deadlines, and schedules.
- Meet with project team members to identify and resolve issues.
- Establish effective project communication plans and ensure their execution.
- Facilitate change requests to ensure that all parties are informed of the impacts on schedule.
- Obtain customer acceptance of schedule.
- Manage customer satisfaction within the project transition period.
- Conduct post-project evaluation and identify successful and unsuccessful project elements.
Competencies
- Procore Construction Management Software experience is a major plus.
- Experience in Architectural Millwork industry
- Experience in MS Office Excel, Word, Outlook, Project management software
- Understanding of AWMAC standards
- Valid driver’s license with respectable driving record
- Knowledge of Workplace Safety Procedures
- Ability to read and understand blueprints
- Excellent management, negotiating and organizational skill
- Demonstrated ability to achieve results
- Sound judgment and decision-making skills with ability to consider the relative costs and benefits of potential actions and choose the appropriate course of action
- Ability to identify measures of performance and actions needed to improve or correct performance
- Possess prioritization skills necessary to use time effectively and set action plans to achieve targets
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Works well under pressure and meets deadlines
- Works effectively in an entrepreneurial, team based collaborative environment
