As an area Commercial Supervisor, you will be the primary owner of the area assigned and will promote and support the RBH Transformation by demonstrating commitment to our Smoke Free Vision. The positions is focusing on Southwest Ontario, the district covers cities like Windsor, London and Kitchener-Waterloo. The Area Commercial Supervisor is the leader of the area assigned and is required to manage, motivate, coach, train and develop a team of Territory Executives. With a focus on promoting our vision and supporting RBH's portfolio of products, the Area Commercial Supervisor will provide clear and timely direction to the team as well as share individual, team, and area performance-related information with the Regional Commercial Manager. The Area Commercial Supervisor will manage the district in an autonomous but responsible manner consistent with our standard policies and principles to maximize all key RBH priorities and objectives. YOUR DAY TO DAY Area Strategy and Measurement - The Area Commercial Supervisor will bring deep knowledge of the assigned area as well as cross-category/channel expertise in order to develop and implement strategies for their area. The Area Commercial Supervisor must be well-versed with the entire RBH portfolio of products, multiple brands/SKUs, accessories, etc. The Area Commercial Supervisor must also be well versed with DTE and our omnichannel approach, promoting their benefits and ensuring that the Territory Executives leverage them within their territories. The Area Commercial Supervisor will set territory objectives and KPIs based on RBH strategies and guidelines to meet required objectives. The Area Commercial Supervisor will actively support the development of territory plans that are aligned with established strategies and objectives. In turn, the Area Commercial Supervisor will integrate territory plans into an overall area plan to assess territory and area performance to plan. Leadership - As the leader, the Area Commercial Supervisor must develop excellent relationships with the team by engaging them regularly and providing support and inspiration. As the team's leader, the Area Commercial Supervisor will promote collaboration and will strive to establish a 'One Team. One Goal' environment. Developing positive relationships with key RBH and account/industry stakeholders is essential to this individual's overall success. The Area Commercial Supervisor must be a skilled team builder and manager and is required to lead, manage, motivate and recruit the team in a given area in order to meet portfolio growth and market share objectives and deliver results. Performance Management and Development - The Area Commercial Supervisor will train (or assign training) and provide individualized on-the-job/in-Trade/remote coaching to team members focused on developing strengths and addressing/eliminating challenges which will enable them to implement effective territory business plans and achieve territory objectives. The Area Commercial Supervisor will provide regular and timely feedback on performance and identify and provide development opportunities. The Area Commercial Supervisor will communicate clear boundaries and delegate effectively to develop employees and manage their own time effectively. Account Leadership - Where required and appropriate, the Area Commercial Supervisor will develop and foster relationships with key accounts/chains. Working in partnership with Key Account Managers and Commercial Planning Managers, the Area Commercial Supervisor will develop a solid understanding of key contracts, strategies and initiatives. Supporting the applicable Territory Executives, the Area Commercial Supervisor will ensure the implementation of strategies and initiatives as well as compliance with established contracts. The Area Commercial Supervisor will participate in contract negotiations within their areas. Account Management and Resource Allocation - The Area Commercial Supervisor must have complete knowledge of the accounts within the defined area to ensure appropriate and effective coverage. The Area Commercial Supervisor will have the autonomy and flexibility to allocate resources to support area/territory plans and ensure that objectives are met. Area Management and Reporting - Per Commercial and Regional Management, the Area Commercial Supervisor will ensure that clear and timely reporting requirements are met. This includes providing direction and training to Territory Executives emphasizing timeliness and accuracy. The Area Commercial Supervisor will analyze business reports from RBH Commercial as well as from their territories on a regular basis. The Area Commercial Supervisor will develop plans and take corrective action as required to meet business objectives. Compliance - Ensure full compliance with business conduct policy and other relevant RBH policies and guidelines. Discuss issues and opportunities and recommend changes to management in order to improve business performance. Propose and manage district budget in line with Regional guidelines and manage own area administration in an efficient manner. Special Assignments - From time to time, the Area Commercial Supervisor will be required to actively participate in projects or special activities. The salary range for this role start at $95,320 to $101,277 based on the level of experience.
