Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Area Manager to join our operations team and support our group of companies. As an Area Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the operations and performance of multiple stores (Food Restaurant and Gas Stations) within a designated region in Alberta. You will ensure that each store meets company standards for customer service, quality, cleanliness, and profitability. Your primary objective will be to drive sales growth, maximize operational efficiency, and uphold brand reputation across all locations under your supervision.
Responsibilities:
· Implement and enforce operational standards, policies, and procedures across all stores to ensure consistency and compliance.
· Monitor and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) such as sales, expenses, inventory levels, and customer satisfaction to identify areas for improvement.
· Develop and execute action plans to address performance gaps and drive operational excellence.
· Train and supervise store managers and staff members to ensure they are equipped with the necessary skills and knowledge to excel in their roles.
· Provide ongoing coaching, feedback, and support to foster a high-performing and motivated team.
· Conduct regular performance evaluations and implement corrective actions as needed.
· Develop and execute sales strategies to drive revenue growth and achieve sales targets for each store.
· Collaborate with marketing teams to implement promotional campaigns, product launches, and marketing initiatives to attract and retain customers.
· Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer preferences to identify opportunities for expansion and innovation.
· Develop annual budgets for each store and monitor financial performance against targets.
· Control costs and expenses to maximize profitability while maintaining quality standards and customer satisfaction.
· Analyze financial reports and trends to identify opportunities for cost savings and revenue enhancement.
· Ensure that all stores deliver exceptional customer service and maintain high standards of cleanliness, hygiene, and product quality.
· Address customer complaints and concerns promptly and effectively to maintain customer loyalty and satisfaction.
· Implement measures to enhance the overall customer experience and foster long-term customer relationships.
· Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations, health and safety standards, and company policies and procedures.
· Conduct regular inspections and audits to identify potential hazards or compliance issues and take corrective actions as necessary.
· Promote a culture of safety, cleanliness, and compliance among store managers and staff members.
Qualifications:
· At least, bachelor’s degree in business administration, hospitality management, or a related field preferred.
· Minimum 5+ experience in multi-unit management or area management within the food industry.
· Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire teams to achieve goals.
· Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
· Sound understanding of financial principles and experience in budgeting and financial analysis.
· Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to changing priorities.
· Knowledge of local market dynamics and regulations in Alberta's food industry.

Job Type: Full-time
Salary: $52,027.00-$66,435.00 per year
