10010 Assistant Accounting Manager

We are seeking an Assistant Accounting Manager for a full-time, permanent position of 30 hours per week. This role offers a salary range of CAD $58 to CAD $60 per hour, negotiable based on experience, with overtime pay at a rate of 1.5 times for hours worked beyond the 44th hour. Our office is located at 2 MELANIE CRT., MARKHAM, Ontario L6C 1B3. Fluency in English is required. This position is unavailable for telecommuting/remote work.
The main responsibilities for this position include:
- Plan and control budget and expenditures
- Establish and implement policies and procedures
- Train, direct and motivate staff
- Assign, co-ordinate and review projects and programs
- Design and manage investment strategies
- Monitor financial control systems
- Manage contracts
- Oversee the collection and analysis of financial data
- Advise senior management
- Plan, organize, direct, control and evaluate daily operations
- Perform human resources related duties such as personnel selection
- Oversee payroll administration
- Conduct performance reviews
You must have the following qualifications:
1) Education: A bachelor's degree in business administration, economics, commerce or a related field is required.
2) Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years.
3) Specialization in areas of accounting, risk management, or financial planning.
