Job Overview:
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Assistant General Manager to join our team. As an Assistant General Manager, you will play a key role in overseeing the daily operations of our compnay. You will work closely with the General Manager to ensure the highest level of customer service, operational efficiency, and profitability.
Duties:
- Assist in managing all aspects of the office, including supervising staff, ensuring quality of service.
- Oversee daily operations
- Train and develop team members on company policies, procedures, and standards
- Monitor and maintain high levels of customer satisfaction through exceptional service
- Assist in creating and implementing strategies to increase sales and profitability
- Collaborate with the General Manager to develop and execute marketing initiatives
- Conduct interviews and assist in hiring new team members
- Handle customer complaints or issues in a professional and timely manner
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations
Requirements:
- Previous experience in a leadership role within the trucking industry
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to effectively interact with customers, staff, and management
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a team
- Exceptional problem-solving abilities and decision-making skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
