Position description

The Department of Modern Languages and Literatures at Mount Allison University invites applications for a full-time nine-month sessional appointment in French language (August 2024-April 2025) at the rank of Lecturer or Assistant Professor, subject to budgetary approval. This position comes with a 2-3 teaching load. The successful candidate will be expected to teach French language courses at the first, second, and third-year levels, with a focus on grammar and writing skills. The successful candidate will have an MA in French language education or an equivalent qualification. Native or near-native fluency in French is essential, as is experience teaching university-level French language to non-native speakers.
