What we’ll love about you:
· Previous experience as a construction superintendent or in a similar role
· Post-secondary degree or diploma in construction engineering or related discipline.
· Knowledge of local quality, safety, and health guidelines for construction job sites
· In-depth understanding of construction operations and processes
· Familiarity with CAD software and proficient in MS Office
· Organizational and time-management skills
· Ability to lead and inspire
· Must be safety conscious and adhere to safety processes and policies
· Other qualifications may be required
What you’ll work on:
Assigned to various project sites, the Assistant Site Supervisor will assist the Site Supervisors, installation team and sub-contractors to oversee the structural phase of site construction activities; and ensures all projects plans, and schedules relating to are followed, and that the project is executed effectively and safely.
· Working closely with the Site Supervisors and project management team by proactively identifies, manages, and resolves potential problems, work conflicts, or schedule challenges.
· Effectively communicates with trades to ensure performance, productivity, quality, and safety requirements are met. Oversees subcontractor coordination and progress.
· Liaising with client, other site contractors and project management team to ensure projects are constructed as per quality, safety, and contract.
