This position oversees various aspects of Intraday Liquidity Management including cash position forecasting, stress-testing and end of day balance management. This role will focus on head office, regional offices & subsidiaries of the Bank.
Is this role right for you? In this role, you will:
- Oversee the operations of the cash position forecasts, settlement balance management, the intraday stress testing, the cash gap reports, and collateral management.
- Assist in the build out of the broker dealer and regional offices with international stakeholders
- Monitor, estimate and maintain the Nostro account balances utilizing data driven decision making
- Oversee internal capital markets funding and forecasting daily
- Maintain collaborative relationship with Accounts managers/Relationship managers to ensure GCM is included in all advance notifications of large transactions.
- Maintain collaborative relationship with short term funding desks to build cash strategy
- Lead projects to enhance existing processes or procedures.
- Understand how the Bank's risk appetite and risk culture should be considered in day-to-day activities and decisions.
- Work with Technology partners to enhance and maintain technology within the current stack.
Do you have the skills that will enable you to succeed in this role? - We'd love to work with you if you have:
- Undergraduate degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or Engineering.
- Experience or understanding in Treasury is considered an asset
- Experience being detail oriented, data focused and have the ability to distill information for senior leaders
- 4+ years of experience in Banking
