Job Summary

The Associate Director within U.S. CFO Operations Office, Data Strategy & Analytics group will drive various strategic initiatives across all verticals within the US Finance team. In addition, this role will help transform business processes while partnering across multiple functions and stakeholders across the Enterprise through design, implement, and maintaining front-to-back project plans that align with future-state corporate strategy, including regulatory and business innovation initiatives.

Job Description

What will you do?

  • Drive and contribute to key strategic initiatives.

  • Work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize work to meet deadlines.

  • Manage all front-to-back aspects of a project to ensure that milestones are accomplished within a set deadline.

  • Partner across functions, including regulatory report owners to collect current state requirements to support the adoption of various strategic solutions.

  • Ensure effective execution of analysis and requirements gathering by team members.

  • Develop constructive relationships within and outside the team.

  • Lead the design and review metrics to track the progress of various initiatives, including preparing scorecards and escalating delays and obstacles to management.

  • Lead the execution and implementation of the end-to-end change management cycle (program/project initiation through project closure and postmortems).

  • Lead Working Group meetings with cross-functional teams to deliver results, triage issues, and drive progress.

  • Prepare senior management meeting materials, such as Executive Committee and Program Operating Group meetings, and any other program related forums.

  • Perform risk assessments in order to identify potential risks/opportunities and recommend mitigation strategies.

  • Successfully deliver the implementation of all project objectives and ensure business stakeholders are well-informed of the future-state benefits.

  • Represent the business needs while interfacing with functional and technology teams for major initiatives, working collaboratively on scope and plan definition.

  • Manage multiple Regulatory and Data Strategy tasks simultaneously.

  • Fostering open communication and information sharing within the organization.

  • Strong capability to manage complex business requirements and to coordinate across multiple teams.

  • Prepare budget approval submissions, change requests and partner with stakeholders to determine impact analysis.

  • Perform additional responsibilities as requested to achieve business objectives.

What do you need to succeed?

  • Graduate or Undergraduate Degree, with a focus in Business, Finance, Project Management, or a related field preferred.

  • Minimum 5+ years of relevant work experience.

  • Knowledge of US regulatory space, including reporting, bank capital management, and stress testing processes.

  • Prior experience with regulatory-focused projects/initiatives.

  • Experience writing and editing requirement documentation, project plans, or end-user documents.

  • Ability to quickly adapt to changing priorities.

  • Strong capability to manage complex business requirements and to coordinate across the organization with short timelines.

  • Excellent communication skills – both verbal and written, including presentation skills

  • Ability to influence others and work well with junior team members.

  • Skillful in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, Access, PowerPoint, Word, Visio, etc.

  • Work well in a fast-paced environment and prioritize work to meet short deadlines.

  • Must be operationally savvy, action-oriented, and continuously strives for improvement.

The good-faith expected salary range for the above position is $110,000 - $190,000 depending on factors including but not limited to the candidate’s experience, skills, registration status; market conditions; and business needs.  This salary range does not include other elements of total compensation, including a discretionary bonus and benefits such as a 401(k) program with company-matching contributions; health, dental, vision, life, and disability insurance; and paid time-off plan.
