As a growing firm, we are currently seeking a talented, entrepreneurial and motivated Associate Employment Lawyer to join our team.

Job Description: We are looking for a lawyer with 0-5 years of experience to contribute to our employment law practice. You will be provided with the opportunity to grow your own practice while also assisting and collaborating with our experienced team of lawyers on various employment law matters. The position involves handling employment-related matters, including but not limited to wrongful dismissals, human rights issues, workplace investigations, litigation and the drafting and review of employment contracts.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare for and represent clients in negotiations, mediations, motions, hearings and trials
• Provide legal advice on employment law matters to clients
• Conduct legal research and analysis
• Draft and review employment contracts, policies, and other legal documents
• Stay updated on changes in employment laws and regulations

Qualifications:

• Licensed with the Law Society of Ontario
• 0-5 years of legal experience, preferably in Employment Law/Litigation
• Superior communication and client service skills
• Strong research, analytical, and communication skills
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast paced environment
• Excellent organizational and time management skills
