As an Associate Lawyer at our firm, you will support and grow our practice by handling complex files with a particular focus on insurance defense. At Kovacs & Norell, we value a collaborative work environment and we offer an attractive compensation package.
All of our lawyers are expected to work towards and maintain a full caseload of files and take ownership of their own examinations for discovery, applications, mediation and trials. Mentorship is provided through informal and formal meetings with senior counsel. On average, you will have the opportunity to be involved in 30-40 discoveries and 1-2 trials per year, providing excellent experience and career growth.

The ideal candidate would possess the following:
- A dedicated, driven and adaptable personality who is motivated to learn
- Ability to work independently and within a team
- Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills
- Must be able to practice law in British Columbia
- Insurance defense experience is preferred but not required
