Associate Lawyer

Ziv Law Group is growing again! Rory Ziv has been practicing criminal law for nearly 20 years and established the firm in 2011.

We provide top-of-the-line criminal defence services to the province of Alberta, and defend all case types whether it is as complex as a murder charge or just a speeding ticket.

We are seeking an Associate Lawyer to join our criminal defence team in downtown Edmonton. Someone who is passionate and knowledgeable about criminal law, and just as motivated in achieving justice as we are!

We are available to our clients 24/7. Our lawyers alternate phone shifts to ensure coverage evenings and weekends to current clients as well as new clients.

The salary range in our posting is an estimate and the possibilities are endless! Associate lawyers are on a fee split to be discussed during the interview process.

Job tasks Include:

Court appearances including docket, bail, trials, etc;

Meeting and consulting with clients;

Legal research;

Legal drafting;

Qualifications:

• Law degree and in good standing with Law Society
• Criminal law knowledge and experience
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $80,000.00-$150,000.00 per year
