Job Title: Repair Centre Technician (1 positions)

Reports to: Warehouse Supervisor Location: Calgary, Alberta Department: Operations

SUMMARY

Reporting to the warehouse supervisor, the Repair Centre Technician will maintain and repair ATM components for Cardtronics. Working within a team environment, your expertise in ATM component reconditioning will benefit the sales and service departments by providing a first class product to Cardtronics clientele. Your ability to troubleshoot and solve complex issues will assist with the development of cost-effective solutions and programs in parts maintenance and repair.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Troubleshoot, diagnose and repair ATM components
  • Document and record processes accurately where required
  • Liaise with service technicians and other repair technicians around the country
  • Movement/organization of stock
  • Maintain available inventory levels so that orders can be processed without delays
  • Participate in inventory counts
  • Ensure that all inventory is properly marked, labelled and in its proper place
  • Maintain procedure manuals for testing components where required
  • Managing work orders according to priority customers
  • Other Duties as assigned
SYSTEMS INVOLVED
  • Proprietary software systems are used to test the functionality of ATM components. These include but are not limited to Triton, Nautilus Hyosung, Wincor, GRG, and NCR.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • No
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Post-Secondary education or equivalent experience
  • Understanding of basic to intermediate networking and communications
  • Previous experience repairing and refurbishing ATM components is an added asset
  • Intermediate knowledge of MS Office including Word and Excel
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong ability to prioritize and multitask
  • Strong attention to details and quality control
  • Organized
  • Ability to work autonomously or within a team environment
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality
  • Patient, responsible and possess strong work ethic
  • Ability to work well under time constrains with a sense of urgency to achieve results and meet deadlines
  • Takes initiative in order to get the job done
  • Ability to learn quickly
  • Strong computer skills
  • NCR, Wincor, or Diebold knowledge is an added asset
