We have an exciting opportunity for an ATTENDING PHYSICIAN to join our team. This is a part time position that would require approximately five to six hours every second week. As our attending physician, you will be required to roster 25-50 residents and will be paid a stipend of $750.00 dollars to $1500.00 dollars from the Waterford Retirement Community depending on how many residents are in your care. All residents on your roster will qualify, as in any other practice, to be billable to OHIP for any and all services provided by you.

Our new Attending Physician will contribute to our community in the following ways.
- Provide quality medical care and services to a defined group of residents living within our Assisted Living, Memory Care and Independent Living neighborhoods.
- Document resident health records during each clinical visit
- Work in collaboration with the Waterford team to provide guidance for the medical care plans for each assigned resident
- Deliver standard on-site hours and provide reasonable after-hours availability for emergencies
- Participate in care planning with families, residents and the Waterford team if requested.
Our new Attending Physician will have:
- Have current knowledge of geriatrics and gerontology
- Maintain good Standing with the College of Physicians within the Province of Ontario
