As we continue to grow, we are seeking a skilled and experienced Autobody Technician to join our dynamic team.
Position Overview: We are looking for a detail-oriented and skilled Autobody Technician who has a passion for delivering flawless automotive finishes. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing vehicles for our paint team.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, and masking as necessary.
- Washing is required on dirty equipment.
- Apply body fillers, putty, and various other materials.
- Work with paint staff to insure all repairs are completed.
- Follow all safety protocols and use proper protective equipment during the process.
- Inspect prepared surfaces to ensure they meet quality standards and make any necessary fixes.
- Keep work area clean and organized, ensuring that tools and equipment are properly maintained.
- Can assess jobs and follow timelines with accuracy.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as an Autobody Refinish Technician.
- In-depth knowledge of surface preparation and masking techniques.
- Proficiency in using various sanding equipment and tools.
- Detail-oriented with a strong commitment to quality and customer satisfaction.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
- Certification or formal training in automotive preparation is a plus.
- Must have tools to be able to complete job. Specialty tools will be supplied.
- 3+ Years of Autobody experience
