We are looking for an Auto Insurance/Appointed Agent to provide sales and service to clients’ changing insurance needs at our Salt Spring Island office.

What you will do in the role:
- Respond to client phone, mail, email, fax, or in-person inquiries and provide solutions
- Use superior communication skills to probe customers to determine current and future needs
- Issues, renews, and/or reinstated Driver Licences, BC Identification Cards, and Photo Medical Service Cards
- Research the best coverage for clients, using all known factors, including pricing, coverage, and claims service; recommend products based on this analysis
- Provide quotes and explain the features, advantages, and benefits of all automobile coverages
- Provide guidance and direction to customers with claims and adhere to established procedures to ensure timely reporting and follow-up
- General Insurance-related administrative duties
The successful applicant will possess:
- A positive attitude and excellent customer service skills
- Strong computer skills and knowledge of MS Office; previous experience using ICBC Policy Centre and insurance specific programs is an asset
- An active level 1 general insurance license is an asset
- Previous ICBC insurance and Driver’s Licensing experience is an asset

- Salt Spring Island Office
- Monday to Thursday, 8:00am – 5:00pm
- Permanent, Full-time employment
Supplemental pay types:
