Automated Production Engineering Director

Your position :
We are looking for an Engineering Director for an industrial process automation company. Position 37.5 hours/week - On-site.
Reporting to the Vice President, you will be responsible for the following tasks:
- Lead the engineering project team (automation programming and electrical design)
- Monitor and validate customer submissions
- Approve drawings, material lists and equipment sizing
- Distribute tasks among engineering and service team members
- Help teams evolve on projects with greater responsibility, and increase their autonomy
- Take responsibility for projects of varying scope (programming, sizing, risk analysis)
- Ensure customer follow-up as required (after-sales, loyalty, etc.)
- Monitor your team's performance
- Suggest actions for continuous improvement
- Other tasks related to process engineering and continuous improvement

Your professional skills :
- You have the ability to write bids
- Proven experience in programming PLCs, servo-motors, operator interfaces
- Ability to build loyalty, respond to customer needs, diplomacy
- Good self-confidence and ability to deal with people
- Transparency and team spirit

Your profile :
- 4 to 15 years' experience in an engineering management position
- Bilingual French English
- Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or Automated Production management
- Active member of the OIQ
- Salary: To be defined according to experience
