Automation Manager

We are seeking a skilled Automation Manager to join our team to service our clients in the Calgary, AB area. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in SCADA systems, PLCs, DCS, RTUs, EFMs, process automation, and instrumentation in the Oil & Gas and Industrial sectors. In this role you will be responsible for leading a team of automation technicians to program, maintain, troubleshoot, and optimize PLC, DCS and SCADA systems to ensure safe and efficient operations across all our clients facilities. This opportunity is well suited for an individual with strong leadership, mentorship and technical skills in the Oil & Gas and Industrial automation sector.

The successful candidate:

• Has a safety-first mindset

• Is a Journeyman Instrument Technician or Journeyman Electrical Technician with 5-10 years of experience in Oilfield & Industrial Automation

• Is experienced in programming, troubleshooting, and maintaining RTU, EFM, PLC, DCS and SCADA syatems.

• Has strong leadership and mentorship skills

• Is well organized and detail-oriented

• Is reliable, dependable, and shows up on time

• Is self motivated, displays strong personal integrity, and works hard

• Willing to travel and work overtime

• Be willing to split time between management, financial and technical responsibilities

Salary: From $50.00 per hour
