We are looking for an Experienced Automotive Sales Manager with a passion for both new and pre-owned vehicle sales. The right candidate will have the ability to drive the numbers, evaluate trade-ins, understand the pre-owned market with the ability to motivate, train, coach and mentor the sales department. A POSITIVE ATTITUDE IS A MUST!
The Sales Manager will be responsible for building and supporting a team of customer-focused sales consultants that achieve all sales and revenue targets while providing a high level of customer service. The Sales Manager must provide direction and motivation to the sales staff in order to maximize productivity and drive performance.
Role Responsibilities Include:
- provide a high level of leadership while coaching supporting and encouraging sales staff to achieve results.
- provide first rate customer experiences
- monitor customers, manage and direct sales staff while focusing on volume and gross targets.
- promote a culture that is positive and high performing.
- Producing revenue for the dealership through sales of new and used vehicles
- Supporting Product Advisors by reviewing worksheets, negotiating/closing sales transactions and assisting them with customer interactions
- Understanding customer needs and qualifying them based on their individual requirements
- Mentoring, guiding and coaching product advisors while providing assistance to ensure they fully complete their daily activities and follow-up tasks, before the end of each shift
- Overseeing personnel to enhance dealerships image & customer satisfaction, along with monitoring productivity plus evaluating and directing activities of department staff
- Valuing/appraising prospective trade-in and buy-in vehicles
- Utilizing CRM tools for prospecting and follow-up, plus traffic management software to ensure business is conducted in accordance with dealership procedures
- Working closely with Financial Services to ensure smooth completion of the sales and delivery process
- Ensuring all paperwork is accurate, completed in a timely manner and processed as required
- Following direction and undertaking all tasks enthusiastically in support of dealership goals
- Completing required training and job knowledge within allotted times; attend seminars to keep up to date with current programs
- Following all company and manufacturer policies, directives and procedures and abiding by governmental & AMVIC licensing rules.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Salary: $120,000.00-$250,000.00 per year
