Job Summary:
We are seeking a customer-oriented Service Advisor to join the team at our automotive repair shop in Saint-Antoine. As a Service Advisor, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and ensuring the smooth operation of our service center.
Duties:
- Greet customers and assist them with their service needs
- Schedule appointments and manage the service department's calendar
- Communicate with customers regarding their vehicle's repair status and estimated completion time
- Provide accurate estimates for repairs and services, including parts and labor costs
- Coordinate with the service technicians to ensure timely completion of repairs
- Recommend additional services or maintenance packages to customers
- Handle cash transactions, including collecting payments and providing change
- Maintain accurate records of customer interactions, repairs, and services performed
- Resolve customer complaints or issues in a professional and timely manner
- Collaborate with other departments, such as parts, to provide a seamless customer experience
Experience:
- Previous experience as a Service Advisor or in a similar role within the automotive industry is preferred
- Mechanical knowledge and understanding of automotive repair processes
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with customers and team members
- Ability to handle cash transactions accurately and efficiently
- Proven sales skills to promote additional services or maintenance packages
- Exceptional customer service skills to ensure customer satisfaction
