As a Service Advisor / Warranty Administrator, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring customer satisfaction by managing the service process efficiently and handling warranty claims with precision. You will be the primary point of contact for customers, providing expert advice on vehicle maintenance, warranty coverage, and coordinating service appointments.
Responsibilities:
Customer Service:
- Greet customers and provide a warm, professional welcome to the service center.
- Listen to customers' concerns and questions, providing accurate information and recommendations.
- Communicate service recommendations clearly and assist in making informed decisions.
Warranty Administration:
- Manage warranty claims process, ensuring accurate and timely submission.
- Verify warranty coverage and liaise with manufacturers to secure necessary authorizations.
- Maintain detailed records of warranty claims, approvals, and rejections.
Appointment Coordination:
- Schedule service appointments efficiently, considering customer preferences and service center capacity.
- Communicate with customers regarding appointment details, including estimated completion times.
Technical Knowledge:
- Stay updated on product knowledge, service procedures, and warranty guidelines.
- Collaborate with technicians to understand repair processes and provide accurate information to customers.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Service Advisor or Warranty Administrator in the automotive industry.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Proficient in using computer systems and software for service scheduling and warranty claims.
- Knowledge of automotive systems, repairs, and warranty guidelines.
Education and Certifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional technical or automotive training is a plus.
- Certification in Automotive Service advising or Warranty Administration is advantageous.
