Clarenville Honda has an immediate opening for a full-time Automotive Service Advisor to join our team. We are seeking a highly-organized, energetic, personable and motivated individual with a strong work ethic and impeccable attention to detail.

Job Duties
- Meet and greet service customers promptly in a professional and courteous manner
- Answer service department phone calls and emails/texts, book appointments, and confirm service appointments via phone or email/text reminders
- Obtain customer and vehicle information, including walk-around inspection and vehicle service history and verify customer’s service needs
- Clearly reporting all vehicle symptoms as described by the customer. Determining and recommending needed maintenance based on age, mileage and history of the vehicle
- Ensure established processes and policies are followed to maximize CSI results
- Communicate with technicians to obtain information needed for accurate work estimate. Prepare a complete and accurate estimate of cost for labour and parts
- Monitor the progress of each vehicle throughout the day and provide updates to the customers
- Monitor and coordinate work flow in the department to maximize productivity and efficiency
- Communicate with service technicians to determine parts needs and promptly supply and order.
- Verify the final invoice reconciles with the work performed on the repair order. Explain all completed work and charges to the customer
- Present multi-point inspection results and discuss future maintenance with customer
- De-escalate customer concerns and communicate them to Service Manager
- Work with the Sales team to coordinate seamless delivery of new and used vehicles
- Assist in the coordination and servicing of used vehicle inventory
- Selling of over-the-counter parts, accessories and tires
- Complete all Honda training courses, as required
- Demonstrate behaviors consistent with the company's vision, mission and values in all interactions with customers, co-workers and suppliers
- Maintain a high level of Health and Safety at all times
- Other duties assigned by your manager
Required Experience & Qualifications:
- High school diploma and/or post-secondary diploma/degree
- Experience as a Service Advisor in the auto industry would be a definite asset
- Proven record of achieving exceptional Customer Satisfaction
- Personal and professional integrity. Professional appearance
- Excellent written and verbal communication
- Good working knowledge of MS Word, Excel and Outlook and other communication productivity software is a must
- Dealership Management System (DMS) experience is a plus
- Must have a valid driver's license, with clean driving record, and ability to drive manual transmission vehicles
- Ability to meet tight deadlines with attention to detail
- Excellent analytical, decision making and problem solving skills
- Strong organizational and prioritization skills with the ability to multitask and adapt to a fast-paced dynamic work environment.
This a full-time position, 8 hours per day, Monday to Friday. However, from time to time, work may be required beyond normal work hours to ensure customer expectations are met.
