Job Description: The incumbent will be responsible for:
Co-facilitating psycho-educational groups with a Mental Health Therapist
Providing Community Mental Health outreach in co-operation with community partners such as the Battlefords Union Hospital Emergency Department, the RCMP and Canadian Mental Health Association.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor Degree/Diploma in Nursing or Bachelor Degree/Diploma in Psychiatric Nursing
Registered or eligible for registration with the College of Registered Nurses of Saskatchewan (CRNS) or Registered Psychiatric Nurses Association of Saskatchewan (RPNAS)
Valid Class 5 driver's license

Additional Qualifications continued: A minimum of 5 years of experience working in an acute Mental Health care environment. Proven knowledge and experience related to evidence based practice as it relates to psychiatry and psychiatric nursing, DSM V Psychiatric diagnoses, Psychotropic medications, substance use disorders, the Saskatchewan Mental Health Act (particularly the sections that apply to community treatment/apprehension) and LEAN methodology. This is a designated field hours position.
The Saskatchewan Health Authority (SHA) requires a criminal record check (CRC) from every potential SHA team member. The CRC must be dated within the past six (6) months and be satisfactory to the SHA. A
