Barista/All Rounder

Anger Ink is opening up the biggest tattoo shop in North America. Within that shop will be a Pigeon Cafe. We are looking for multi-purpose staff who can make coffee as well as prep food and help us serve clients from all over the world.

Responsibilities:

- Prepare and serve a variety of hot and cold beverages, including coffee, tea, smoothies and specialty drinks
- Prepare/ prep food items such as wraps, salads, toasts, etc.
- Take customer orders and accurately input them into the point-of-sale (POS) system
- Operate espresso machines and other coffee-making equipment
- Ensure that all beverages are made to the customer's specifications and meet quality standards
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, including restocking supplies as needed
- Provide exceptional customer service by greeting customers, answering questions, and resolving any issues or complaints in a friendly and efficient manner
- Handle cash transactions and maintain accurate cash drawer balances
- Follow all health and safety regulations when handling food and beverages

Qualifications:

- Previous experience as a barista or in a similar role is preferred but not required
- Excellent time management skills to ensure orders are prepared in a timely manner
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with customers
- Proficient in cash handling procedures and basic math skills for accurate cash transactions
- Knowledge of food handling and preparation techniques to ensure food safety standards are met
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Familiarity with POS systems for order processing and cash handling
- Ability to work well in a team and communicate effectively with coworkers
- Fluent in English and French

Note: we are also looking for a head barista/coffee GURU to make sure each employee is adequately trained to make the perfect cup of coffee. If you have expansive knowledge of coffee and feel confident leading others, please be sure to mention it in your interview.

Salary: $15.00-$30.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20 – 40 per week
