Bartender/Salesperson (Full-time, Part-time)

Charlottetown, PE (Founders Food Hall & Market)

Responsibilities:

· Customer Engagement: Foster a welcoming atmosphere by engaging with customers in a friendly and approachable manner, offering recommendations, and ensuring their experience is memorable.

· Mix and Craft: Create a diverse range of high-quality and visually appealing cocktails with precision, ensuring consistency and excellence in every pour.

· Salesmanship: Utilize effective sales techniques to promote and upsell premium beverages, retail products, special promotions, and other offerings, contributing to the overall profitability of the establishment.

· Cleanliness and Organization: Maintain a clean and organized bar area, including proper storage of ingredients, glassware, and utensils, adhering to health and safety standards.

· Transaction Efficiency: Process customer transactions efficiently and accurately, handling cash, credit cards, and other payment methods with precision and professionalism.

· Issue Resolution: Handle customer inquiries, concerns, and complaints promptly and diplomatically, providing solutions to ensure a positive customer experience.

· Team Collaboration: Contribute to a positive and collaborative team environment by effectively communicating with other staff members, supporting colleagues during busy periods, and fostering teamwork.

· Knowledge Update: Stay informed about current beverage trends, new ingredients, and industry innovations, continuously expanding knowledge to enhance the bar's offerings.

· Inventory Management: Assist in managing bar inventory, including regular stock checks, ordering supplies, and minimizing waste to ensure efficient operations.

• Adaptability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, to accommodate the dynamic nature of the hospitality industry.
• Must be able to lift 60lbs of weight comfortably and be accustomed to standing for long extended periods of time.
