Job Description:
We are seeking a dynamic and versatile individual to join our team as a Bartender/Waitstaff. This role requires someone who is skilled in both bartending and waitressing, providing exceptional service to our patrons. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for delivering a memorable dining and drinking experience to our guests.
Duties:
- Prepare and serve a variety of beverages, including cocktails, beers, wines, and non-alcoholic drinks, with precision and efficiency.
- Engage with customers to provide recommendations and take orders promptly and accurately.
- Create a welcoming atmosphere by greeting and seating guests, and ensuring their comfort throughout their visit.
- Demonstrate expert knowledge of our menu offerings, including food and drink specials, and answer any questions guests may have.
- Mix and pour drinks according to recipes, ensuring consistency and quality with every order.
- Monitor and maintain inventory levels of beverages, garnishes, and supplies, and place orders as needed.
- Prepare garnishes and garnish drinks in an attractive and timely manner.
- Handle cash and credit card transactions accurately and responsibly, including processing payments and managing tabs.
- Assist in maintaining cleanliness and organization of the bar area and dining room, including restocking supplies and clearing tables.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff and other team members to ensure smooth service and timely delivery of orders.
Skills and Qualifications:
- Previous experience in bartending and waitressing in a fast-paced hospitality environment.
- Strong knowledge of beverage preparation techniques, including mixing cocktails and pouring draft beer.
- Excellent customer service skills, with the ability to provide friendly and attentive service to guests.
- Attention to detail and the ability to multitask in a high-pressure environment.
- Good communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to interact effectively with customers and colleagues.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Knowledge of responsible alcohol service and adherence to all applicable laws and regulations.
- Positive attitude and willingness to work as part of a team to achieve common goals.
- Ability to stand for long periods and lift heavy objects as needed.
- Certification in bartending or completion of relevant training programs is a plus.
