THE ROLE
Under the supervision of the General Manager, the incumbent will greet customers, prepare and serve mixed drinks, wine, draft, or bottled beer and non-alcoholic beverages, as required; take customers' orders; serve customers at counter, as required; prepare food, as required; portion and wrap food or place it directly on plates for service to patrons, and package takeout food; stock refrigerators and refill beverage machine; collect payment for beverage and food items and record sales; clean bar and eating area and wash dishes; replenish condiments and other supplies; secure building at closing; prepare bank deposits and cash floats, as required; ensure compliance with provincial liquor legislation and regulations; assist with set-up and take down of functions, as required; perform general housekeeping duties such as sweep, vacuum and spot mop following functions, as required; etc
QUALIFICATIONS NEEDED
Education, Certifications and Licenses
- High school diploma
- Some bartender experience

English Essential, Bilingual (English and French) an asset
