Job Title: Bee Cozy Line Worker

Schedule: Mon – Fri. 40 hours per week, overtime may be required.

Job Type: Summer Student - Fixed Term

Compensation: $17.50 per hour

Duties and Responsibilities:

· Ability to work in a physically demanding environment, produce high quality products and meet daily quotas.

· Physically fit and able to stand for long periods of time. Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

· Tolerance for repetitive work tasks.

· Operates, maintains, and cleans production equipment and work areas in the Bee Cozy room as per SOP requirements, follow proper H&S procedures.

· Excellent communication skills and ability to work well in a team environment.

· Ensures safe work areas and practices including cleaning and maintenance of PPE.

· Cross-trains on equipment and tasks as required.

· Completes required documentation accurately and on time. This could include daily batch documents, logbooks and records as required.

· Accurate bi-weekly raw material inventory counts.

· Has an awareness of GMP requirements and follows these guidelines for the production area.

· Other duties as assigned.

Qualification and Skills:

· Attention to detail.

· Excellent communication skills, both verbal & written.

· Manual Dexterity.

· Ability to lift 50 lbs.

· Troubleshooting/Problem solving.

· Basic computer literacy with email, Microsoft Word and Excel.

Required Education and Experience:

· High school diploma and/or relevant college education

· Minimum of 3 to 5 years of Manufacturing experience.

· WHMIS certification

Job Type: Fixed term contract
Contract length: 4 months

Salary: From $17.50 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
