SalaryDescription:
As an Emergency Assistance Coordinator, you will be responsible for answering inbound calls in company's 24/7 Assistance department from travel insurance clients that have encountered an emergency situation while travelling outside of Canada. Example of calls are: medical emergencies, evacuations, trip interruptions, flight delays, and baggage issues. The main focus of the role is to help with call volume and open cases for company's Case Managers.
Schedule/In office requirements:
- First month of role is 100% in office mandatory (training = 3 weeks)
- After first month, switch to hybrid model min. 3x week in office rotating schedule
- Schedule: Four 10 hour day shifts, then three days off
- No overnight shifts, 10 hour shift between 8am-10pm
- Must be available to work stat holidays, paid time and a half
Qualifications:
1) Bilingual in French or Spanish
2) 6 months of high stress/volume call centre experience; need to be able to handle sensitive situations which requires candidates to be passionate about helping people
3) HS Diploma
