The Opportunity

As a Sales Support Summer Student, you will be responsible for aiding the Individual Sales and Retention teams by performing data analysis, conducting research, and providing an exceptional experience to our members. You will be in regular contact with clients and internal departments, building and maintaining strong relationships with these stakeholders.

Responsibilities
  • Maintain strong relationships with internal and external customers by handling their inquiries in an efficient manner
  • Create and maintain reports to measure sales activities; distribute sales leads as necessary and assign follow up tasks; maintenance of sales records
  • Manage group email, voicemail and fax processes within the sales team
  • Process all departmental incoming mail and fulfill outgoing mail requests
  • Support other day to day administrative activities
  • Process credit card payments with members over the phone
  • Outbound calls to our existing member base to gather and share information to increase digital engagement with our members (eg collecting missing email or contact info, assisting with set up / registration on the Member Services Site)

Qualifications
  • Must be a first-year student, returning to school in the Fall, with hopes that you will join us again next summer
  • Bilingualism (French/ English) is required
  • Must work in the Moncton office (this is not a remote role)
  • Relevant work experience in insurance, business and/ or office administration
  • General knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Power Point)
  • A high level of attention to detail
  • Strong customer service focus
  • Strong organizational skills and able to prioritize effectively
  • Able to multi-task effectively; demonstrate agility in a fast-paced environment
  • Effective time management skills
